Founded in 2018, AURORA PLUS GROUP specializes in the production of domes and glamping oases. We proudly highlight our team of experts who ensure that every detail is executed professionally and in line with the client’s wishes—from the initial idea and design to the interior of the dome. Our ideas are born in Teslić, production takes place in Banja Luka, and our domes are “rising” across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our first glamping oasis is located in Dračevo.

What materials are used in dome construction and how durable are they?
Structure
- The structure is made of galvanized steel pipes (Ø 42 mm / 2 mm wall thickness), ensuring stability and long-term durability.
- The lattice frame design provides excellent strength and safety. The structure has been tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 100 km/h and snow loads of 125 kg/m².
- An optional powder coating provides additional protection against sea salt, making it especially suitable for coastal locations.
Outer Cover (Membrane)
- The outer cover is made of certified fabric with a weight of 670 g/m² (Sattler Austria / Sioen Belgium). It is fire-retardant and UV-resistant.
It consists of two parts: 2/3 opaque white fabric and 1/3 transparent section. Insulation – Inner Membrane / Upholstered Interior Layer of the Dome
- SOn the inner side of the outer membrane and the lattice steel structure, a three-layer insulation system is installed. This inner lining consists of: a breathable, waterproof protective membrane used specifically in the glamping and automotive industries, a middle insulating felt layer of approximately 30 mm, and a third layer visible from the interior – a water-repellent upholstered finish available in various colors chosen by the customer.
- TThe upholstered layer is made in sections according to the dome’s shape and is attached with Velcro, allowing it to be easily removed, washed, or replaced as desired.

Platform
- The dome is built on a steel/wooden lattice platform (steel pipes / wooden beams 80x80mm and 60x40mm) with a total platform area of 7.5 x 10 m. The platform is elevated from the ground and mounted on concrete anchor footings. Thermal insulation panels (sandwich panels approx. 50 mm thick) are installed over the structure.
- A waterproofing layer (Bitulit and Fragmat) is applied over the panels, followed by a wooden vacuum-impregnated outdoor floor decking, extending the wood’s lifespan up to 25 years.
If the client prefers WPC or another type of flooring, the price difference will be calculated separately.
- The dome structure, along with all interior and exterior elements, is installed on the wood-covered platform. Entrance doors and interior toilet doors are PVC, with optional alternatives in ALU, solid wood, or other materials.
- A railing made of steel posts with natural rope or steel cable (single or double row) is installed on the platform.
Stairs leading to the platform are optional.
Electrical and water/sewage installation through the platform inside the dome is included in the price.
- There is an option to install an additional floor over the platform.
Durability
Our domes are resistant to wind and snow loads, ensuring safety and comfort in all weather conditions throughout the year.
*The structure has been tested to withstand wind speeds of 100 km/h and snow loads of 125 kg/m².
- Upon client request, electronic locks can be optionally installed on the entrance PVC doors at a later stage.

4 Dome Sizes
Our domes are available in various sizes, adaptable to clients’ needs and preferences. The most common diameters are 6 or 7 meters, while larger domes with diameters of 9 m or 11 m can be custom-built for specific requirements.
6-Meter Diameter / 3 m Height (28 m²)
This compact dome features a toilet, a snack bar instead of a full kitchen, and a sleeping area (two single beds placed side by side), with a height of 3 meters and a total area of 28 m². Perfect for a comfortable stay in nature.

7-Meter Diameter / 3.5 m Height (42 m²)
The popular “Seven” dome is built on two levels. The lower zone (38 m²) includes a double bed with wardrobe, dining area, bathroom, and kitchen. The upper zone (4 m²) features additional sleeping space, either two single beds (800 x 2000 mm) or a double bed (1600 x 2000 mm).
One of the main differences between the 6-meter and 7-meter domes is the kitchen.

Our company produces and installs the dome, provides all necessary infrastructure, rents it to guests, manages marketing, cleans and maintains the property, and offers a mobile and web application to monitor bookings, logistics, and financial performance.
For each overnight stay, the owner receives €50 (100 KM), while €40 (80 KM) covers operational costs. Payments are made monthly or according to agreement with the investor.
Annual revenue can generate approximately €9,000 (around 18,000 KM) in a conservative scenario (half-year occupancy) and up to €13,000 (around 26,000 KM) or more in a favorable scenario. It is estimated that the dome pays for itself in about 2 years, after which pure profit is achieved.
